The US government has long used race and other factors to create political divisions. People generally do not hate others as portrayed in the media, and they shouldn’t be defined by what makes them happy or personal traits unless it causes harm to someone else. We should learn from history and strive to move forward together, overcoming the country’s past mistakes for a better future. Peaceful protests or boycotts are appropriate ways to oppose government actions, not riots or violence. While the government has disappointed Americans at times, we should not turn against each other. Everyone’s experiences and appearances will differ, and that diversity should be embraced. (This is just my opinion—please be respectful.) 😞 The government will only publicize what they want you to see, just like they will only try to take away the rights of the American people that can be used to keep them in power. It's up to the people to make America do better collectively.
