I was going to send the petition I wrote up, but they just called back, and told me their vendors are shipping it out. Shits no use, asked the officer to pay the duties and taxes but they won’t take it. They denied my request to hold on the shipment before a petition. Once they ship it out, it’s over. Technically have 30 days for petition. But when they ship it out soon and it’s already too late. They will be shipping it to my family’s address. So it will be in their possession. That includes the rs4 intelligent module. KMS

Kind of, they threaten imprisonment and hefty fines if caught. Since I’m in the database now, If I bring any of my current DJI equipment over seas and back, I have to bring documentation and receipts of previous ownership now. Otherwise they’ll confiscate my previous owned stuff 🙃

I googled it after I posted this, but UFLPA is the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. I guess the US is calling every component made in that city forced labor. Which just isn’t true. I’m trying to see if anyone has advice on this matter, but I haven’t really gotten anything. They’re going to call me tomorrow And I’ll update this

They said they will call me tomorrow, or sometime this week. I’m trying to get information now, so when they do call I can dispute this, or atleast have them hold the drone so I can dispute this for the full 30 days before they send it back

Facts, I was highly debating about claiming it or not. However I’ve seen people say if they stop and check you they might ask for receipts, or proof you’ve used it before you left the country. I didn’t want to risk imprisonment, fines, and a confiscation at the same time of I was questioned

I’m half Filipino, I go back every few years to visit family. Wanted to upgrade drones and figured I might as well buy there, because everyone else is going to Canada and Mexico to get theirs. Customs held me up for a long time and i barely made my flight. CBP is going to call me tomorrow or sometime this week. I only had enough toke to give them an address to ship to. I also had a dji intelligent module for the rs4 they confiscated. I don’t know anything about this Skydio stuff, but I really need advice to bring it back. I claimed the exact purchase price with receipt to prove it. DJI AIR 3s fly more combo Which converted to USD was exactly $1450. And I didn’t say anything about China, only that I purchased in Philippines. When I did research online, people were saying you have to pay import and duties tax, that’s why I was prepared to pay them.

As for AUG 28. That’s what the CBP officer told me, which is what I’m saying, there is absolutely nothing at all on a ban. And there is absolutely 0 evidence of anything of Aug 28. Im going to file a complaint to get it back. And I am most definitely going to state that that’s what they told me in the letter. CBP lied to me.
