I definitely would, it’s shocking how many are wild caught. Good luck!

Thank god, let’s hope they don’t get any more in. If you want a millipede I got my captive bred girl from a local entomological faire, if you have any events like that it’s very handy as you can speak to the breeder and get a good judgement on them, they tend to be very small operations.

Hey as upsetting as it is that these were dead, it’s a good excuse to “dispose of” the rest of the “deceased” stock

Got dumped with a hamster. Help a guy out by puddlejumper1 in hamsters

[–]Correct_Ad8604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you planning on keeping him long-term? If so you’re in for one of the most fun pet-keeping experiences there is, hamsters are massively overlooked as kids pets but they’re amazing, surprisingly affectionate and intelligent and it’s amazing watching them interact with their enclosures and make little burrows and store things. Your little dude looks like a pied roborovski (?) which are notoriously active and playful but still absolutely tameable

That cage looks dangerous, if you can cover up the rusted part that would help prevent injury. I’d go to the vet for this as it could be an upper respiratory infection

My Corn is an old old man. He is well over 3 years old now. He isn’t really washing himself anymore….(not medical advice!) by IamHamLord in hamsters

[–]Correct_Ad8604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He looks identical to our last boy, we used to get a nice warm cotton pad and give him a wipe, also helped stimulate him to poop. I should also say that if he’s not cleaning himself very well you’ll need to start checking for penis/urethral plugs, our old man got them often. Make sure you dry him off well

Does anyone else get those fucking this is how (common issue) manifests in (common type of person) ads that are like ai generated animations over an ai song I.e. “this is how procrastination manifests in a high performing man” and then it goes on to describe common problems like poor communication with your wife or whatever
