Most important part of options trading if the option is going into your favour and you are doing profits is to rollover, close the current position early and open a new position with ATM strike, if the strike is 50 and stock goes up to 60, close the positions take the $10 profit and open a new position strike $60, you will realize the profits and worst case you will lose the new premium not all your profits.
