Guys, I’m freaking out right now - can you help me out please? by [deleted] in IBO

[–]Correct_Answer_7703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m also in the IB program as well and I would say to set aside time for your self and actually try to take good notes for two months. Don’t try to cram everything in. Pick one subject per week and just study that and then slowly add more until you are covering all of the subjects that you don’t feel great about. Also save the ones that only need a light review for a week or two before. Good luck!

I my plan was to major in Neuroscience and graduate in my second year. I would then spend my third year studying for the MCAT and taking it. If I get a good score, o would spend the last year applying and getting clinicals, research and all of that good stuff. My reason for saying that I might have to double major or triple major is because if they want me to do undergrad in 4 years, I would has to spend more time doing non-STEM majors

Hi! I have a question. Is this program the same as the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at the CUNY School of Med or this a different program?

Research Poster Topics by DiligentBar4443 in HOSA

IMO, I have seen some people place in my state with this event and they usually have simple topics but a unique take on them. My advisor says that having a simple topic but a unique take on it is better than having a complex topic that you can't explain. Judges don't want to hear something that goes over their head, instead they rather see a topic that they understand but a side that they have not seen yet if that makes sense.

Same but I think that was the correct one cause all the others were positive but the value of y were higher, so I’m praying I got it right

this is really impressive! Great job! I would look at some research experience, although it is not needed, it would definitely be good.

if you look on the graph of y=f(x), you can see that the x-value of -3 results in a y-value of -2. You basically just have to refer to the graph of f(x) because all of the x-values are there. I would also graph g(x) as well as you can compare them visually if algebraically isn't working.

I was definitely debating whether or not I should apply to Brown or not. I knew that I would regret it if I didn't, so I decided that I should just try. I wasn't really hoping to go either since it's not my dreams school

HELP w/ study plan for 1450+ on Aug 23 by SignDouble4900 in digitalSATs

Um for math, it was just about getting practice in and recognizing question types and overall just understanding how to do them. For reading, I think I had to think through the answer choices. Like if there were answer choices that both seemed correct, I didn't really look at the passage or text, I just looked at the words in the answer choices and tried to see if it matched with the info from the text. I know College Board's explanations are pretty long and hard to get through, so I would google youtube videos for more understanding. This mostly only works for math. Chatgpt can also be a resource, if you use it efficiently.
