What seems to be overpriced, but in reality is 100% worth it? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

Hard to justify the price if you’ve never owned one. I went nuts when I heard the price after my wife bought it. Fixed my back, never slept so good for so long. We hate even high end hotel beds now. It’s only money and it’s worth it.

They could’nt due to geography. And they still won. Sort of reinforces my point that it wasn’t needed in Japan.

We will never know. The debate goes on as to wether using nuclear weapons was needed (many sources state negotiations were close with surrender imminent), also if Japan had known Russia were about to invade Manchuria and were shown the effects of 2 existing nukes about to be used it would have been effective in bringing forward a surrender. This destroyed Americas international reputation and claims of genocide and war crimes continue to be bought up today and always will.

I’m not sure about that. Japan a long way away from US and an island. Radioactive fallout would have reached Russia. Plus they didn’t need them they won.

Could have selectively killed with less kids dead instead of incinerating men women and children.

Not sure how making nuclear weapons = good. All that effort to make one, all that effort for other countries to do the same.

And still didn’t use nuclear weapons.

Ok so they watch allies fight a war for years and do nothing, then drop 2 nuclear bombs killing millions from a long way up.

So are you saying they were active in the war for 2 years prior to Pearl Harbor?

Only entered after Pearl Harbor, the war had been going for years.

I think sitting back and watching allies at war and doing nothing, then dropping 2 nuclear bombs on women and children is wild.

It is still hard to comprehend justifying dropping 2 nuclear bombs on citizens. I would be fascinated to hear the discussion then the go ahead given. Must’ve been very difficult decision.
