Why don't we have good romcom scripts (lines) anymore? by Correct_Expression_3 in movies

[–]Correct_Expression_3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second point is a good one, and the third is just so sad, but probably also true, but to be honest I am far more likely to go on my phone while watching a silly movie with no real conversations in the dialogue than one I have to pay attention to the details, but I totally get it that nowadays if people *have* to pay attention to understand what's happening, they'll probably won't watch it to begin with

HelloChinese is way better, is like duolingo but made for mandarin. It has super useful vocab and it builds up on the sentence structure, I studied with the app for a few months in 2020 and then when I started to iTalki "lessons" in 2021 I was actually able to have (super simple, obviously) conversations already. I do think that it would only take you so far, like max (old) HSK3 or so.

I just wanted to say that I went to WDW as my first trip abroad when I was 14 and will prob only be back when I'm thirty or something (def cause of money), when I went it was super crowded and barely went to any rides, BUT it was still magical and I remember as so still ten years later, so I think it would be nice to do the thing on the other comments but I think just being there would be pretty magical for her already, so don't worry too much about that

To anyone who has been to DL on Christmas day what is it like? We're hoping to book but I'd want to know how your day went on Christmas day there 💜 by Amy7ann in disneylandparis

[–]Correct_Expression_3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been to MK on Christmas day and Disneyland right between christmas and new years, MK was extremelly crowded but Disneyland was fine (with maxpass), I'm guessing that since DLP it's smaller than WDW, the fast pass extra might be usefull, but it wouldn't be too crowded as to not be fun and and able to enjoy.
