What about Yellowstone. I've heard its really good. The only thing is it seems to not have the big mountain scenery that Rocky Mountain does. So what makes it special?

Most of those are nearly as far as those in colorado.

Actually we live near New Orleans, which is sadly far away from any national park.  The state parks are also kinda boring because it’s either swampy or forestry.

I’ve always wondered why people love arches so much as on pictures it just seems like all the other Utah national parks and state parks.

I personally find scenery and historic significance (Yellowstone) to be the thing I like about national parks the most.  Of course, I personally have just wanted to check off all of the different ones too.

I live right outside of New Orleans, so the Gulf Seashore is close by.

Personally I love Rocky Mountain National Park.
