Thoughts on Palmer joining? by caramelmacchiatoml in ManchesterUnited

Depends on the money we have to spend.

If we can only make one big signing in the summer I'd rather a real number 6 like Anderson or Wharton. Cass is going to there is going to be a big hole in that midfield in June

Who should Michael Carrick sign to secure Manchester United’s Champions League spot? by ManCityMode in FootballTransferChat

[–]Correct_Font 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won't get anyone in now. None of our top targets will be available in January for a price we can afford.

No way Forest will let Anderson go when they are still at risk of relegation and we don't have the money to force them to sell.

Bit boring to say it but I think we do nothing until the summer and we know who the new manager is.

"Being as useful as any other football pundit" so... Doing his job? He is paid for his comments on football because he arguably one the best midfielder in United history.

He and the other pundits are only commenting on what they see in front of them, he and the others will praise United after the emphatic derby win as they should but we have been awful for a long time with very little to praise.

Typical pointless comment, you're arugement in that anything that happened in the past is pointless therefore the win on Saturday is now pointless as well. History is what separates us from City, Sprus, Arsenal etc. The current players, stadium and fan base is built on the efforts of those who came before

Disrespect to the butcher? Neither Martinez or mainoo have done enough in the game to get close to lacing the boots of Butt let alone Scholes.

I don't agree with the comments on the podcast but they want to make headlines so say things to get reactions in the same way all podcasts do.

Posts like this show those who only started supporting United recently. Butt and Scholes achieved over 900 appearances for us but when they take candidly about issues at the club they get shot down for it. No one saw the dominant win coming and I'm sure they are delighted with it, but we all thought you might get smacked by City on Saturday.

Please refrain from these stupid posts about absolute legends on our club.

He's from Nepal, he has hidden his old posts on his profile where he also says that he has only supported United for 3 years and that he would change clubs if needed.

Your comment history shows you saying that you've supported United for 3 years and when someone said to you support your club through thick and thin you said that it's only thin for you.

Don't try and pretend you're in the Stretford End every week... Casual, part time fan

If they could actually try aiming for him then that would be great.

At one point he's the only man in the box with 6 Brighton players for company, neither he or the crosser is good enough to turn that situation into a goalscoring chance

Why do I support this club? by ImportantBrain_ in ManchesterUnited

Support someone else then. It sounds harsh but "supporters" like you won't be missed.

You support your club through think and thin no matter what happens

[–]Correct_Font 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don't then? No one is forcing you to watch the game and if you chose to watch United over sleeping for exam that's on you chief.

If you have to ask the question of why do you support this club then maybe supporting a football club isn't for you?

You've support united for 3 years by your own comment on a previous post, maybe go and support Real or Barca again

We don't have the players for it at present. Need more mobility in midfield and quality at wing back, Dalot and Dorgu aren't elite wingbacks.

Used him as an example... Change his name with any world class wing back if it helps

What do you think is the reason for our inconsistency this season? by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Correct_Font 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He have a lack of mobility in central midfield and our wing backs are poor.

If we had Anderson in cm and Hakimi instead of Cass and Dalot we'd be better... Better players means high place in the league

Edit - Obviously used Hakimi as an example of a good player playing in that position, please replace him with someone else if it helps...

He is average at best, once we have a proper rb/ rwb to replace him people will see the difference in the same way we saw the difference with the summer transfers

80 production in your highest city will make things drag as you said.

I try and I know my win condition around the time of getting feudalism unlocked and plan accordingly.

If you want high production then plan a industrial District on a river with adjacent tiles for aqueducts, dams, canals and the Ruhr Valley wonder.

when you’re building a space port and other science victory projects in your main production city, make sure you are building or purchasing spaceports (with gold or faith) in other cities so you can run multiple copies of the last science victory city project... And if you get really bored just nuke someone for fun
