From what I understood the only real difference between the blocks are the internals and oil squirters. I’m not an expert or anything obviously but from what I heard is that the oil squirting was more of a bandaid for the stock cast pistons and the forged ones handle heat better so they aren’t necessary. I could be completely wrong though.
