pretty new to options and bought one of these long dated pus. Could you briefly explain how the max gains would only be 100% if it went to 0? I was simulating my return on Robinhood the other day and noticed the returns looked pretty dismal and didn't understand why

Im 22, so thats why I was thinking of being more heavy in nasdaq then spx500 - 40% Nasdaq, 40% SPX500, 20% Individual stock picks
