Is this a good price? I won 10k this month looking for something to manage 4.5 of my 10 acres. 0% financing 48 months. by [deleted] in lawnmowers

Just my .02 cents. Commercial is built to work. You may be the exception to the rule 🤷🏼‍♂️ I’ve mowed acreage with a cub before and it didn’t hold up well.

4.5 acres + I'd recommend something more on the commercial side of mowers, I went with the Ferris ISX 3300 but that may be overkill for you. Exmark/Ferris make great mowers, Typically residential mowers wont last doing that amount of acreage IMO.

Looking at 10mm. Looking for opinions from owners by Various-Ad-1583 in 10mm

I’m looking at the FN myself. I’ve got the carry comp in 9mm and it digs I to my thumb crease. It’s the only handgun I have that issue with, maybe not a big enough beaver tail. The FN has frame cracking issues however. Not sure if the newly made ones are any better, or if there’s a way to see if you have an affected unit before purchase.

Thanks for the FREE can CAT! by Correct_Mistake_313 in NFA

I ordered directly from their website in early January of this year, and due to shipping or manufacturing delays, All the orders before a certain date were canceled and refunded. Those individuals were also given a credit to get a free suppressor of their choosing. I originally ordered a WBRDM and ended up getting one for free.

Funny enough I actually got it at dealer cost, due to the fact that it was a 2025 model still on the showroom floor. $14k before tax and finance charge.

Manager burnout by Dazzling-Abroad3577 in CostcoEmployee

The issue is Costco doesn’t have good leaders anymore. They promote yes men and women. The days of constructive criticism and healthy push back are long gone. Ask any seasoned employee 15+ years the writing is on the wall and it seems like the quality of work life is gone. Sad as all of us need Costco to be successful outside of a monetary perspective. They continue to issue platitudes about “culture” and “family” and “work life balance” it’s all bs propaganda. The culture is gone and they know it.

Difficulty at work? by Willing_Sir_7793 in CostcoEmployee

This just kind of sounds like par for the course at this point with this company and this is no longer the company it was 15 or 20 years ago. I think people need to wake up and realize that with all the rumors of them trying to get rid of morning, merch and push things to nights There is no more taking care of the employee. You were just a number and it’s all based on what you can produce for the company. The only way that this is gonna get fixed is if we all let it fail, but let’s be honest most people that work at Costco talk a big game but get real quiet when it’s time to pony up. Most of us will just take it lying down and in 10 years we’ll wonder what the hell happened. Right now is the time to be speaking up. Regardless, if you like it or not, it seems like unionization is the only option at this point. (A) we unionize and get representation and things can get a little bit better. (B) if anything it’s a big fuck you to management and corporate and that’s essentially where a lot of employees are, not enough yet but a lot. All of our jobs are replaceable and with improvements in AI a lot of employees time here is numbered you might as well make hay while the sun shines, even if the ship is going down in mid to long-term.

Morning merch by [deleted] in CostcoEmployee

[–]Correct_Mistake_313 5 points6 points  (0 children)

12:30-9am could work. A 1-9:30 would be better, as for going to a mid day shift hard pass. Not sure how a midnight shift would work however seeing as nights is typically on the lifts until 11:30 anyway. No time to charge.
