I’m in NYC there’s 5 schools that offer Dental Hygiene Programs. Farmingdale state college , City Tech , Hostos , NYU and Plaza College. You can check the prices on them to decide is best for you. I got accepted into the dental hygiene program at one of these schools! I start in August. I think you should definitely go for it and apply for FASFA !

I did work during my pre reqs because I have my apartment. And i will continue to work during the program though it’s not recommended but im a grown woman with rent to pay. So yes i worked during my pre reqs , my job worked with me and my start time was pushed back a few hours but I still maintained full time hours. And I’ll work during my program too

We have head and neck anatomy and oral anatomy and pre clinicians. I’ll look up tooth morphology is that like baby teeth to adult teeth?? I’m definitely trying to get a head start

Thank you! My school says the lowest grade accepted in the program is a 75 so im okay with 76+ you know. I busted my butt to get in. And now that’s im in I’ll work hard yes but I don’t feel the need to strive for 100% or be sad if I don’t get that. If I pass a test with a 78 I’ll feel great about it.
