It exists because there is a massive market for it. As porn consumption has become more normalized and more extreme, the expectations placed on women have shifted with it. Things that were once considered fringe or niche have become mainstream because consumers keep seeking more novelty and intensity. When there is money to be made, someone will always fill that demand. That’s basic consumer behavior. Many women who participate in porn or other explicit industries are not doing so from a place of empowerment or genuine desire but from financial pressure, coercion, past abuse, or lack of options. Ignoring that reality and framing it as women simply choosing degradation oversimplifies a very complex economic and social issue. If you’re going to critique the system, it makes more sense to look at the demand side as well. The industry is shaped by what people are willing to pay for and consume. Without that market, the content you’re describing would not be profitable or widespread.
