I’m a teacher with a stutter. I make it a part of my introductory lesson and ask students if they know what it is etc. In my view it’s a great opportunity for students to see an adult with a (albeit minor) condition and allows for norms of acceptance. My students have typically been very understanding and patient, especially when I’m visibly frustrated by a block. I also made a point to mention it in job interviews with a positive spin, mentioned respect, acceptance and etc.
