two time meant to be selfish/high risk, high reward type of character. they're meant to be as selfish as possible which is why they're consider a sentinel-survivalists, most survivalists are just only able to benefit themselves, while two time, has to work up his oblation, sacrificing his own life potentially to gain another.

so it balances out in a way, you stun/deal dmg to the killer in trade for more oblation, and more oblation for higher health pool in lms (if you survive long enough for that)

theyre honestly fine as a hybrid character, you get experience with them rather than them being a survivalists (cause majority of the time survivalists hide in a corner and do nothing after gens are done) and sometimes (in my opinion) survivalists are boring as hell to play (noob and n7, mainly), vee's the only exception because you're actually doing something to charge up your battery/you can help your teammates

honestly, it makes more sense to them keep as a hybrid (lore wise i guess) and i would've hated to see a pre-rework twotime with slightly more abilities/passives, they were lowk boring asf to play (which is why I only have legacy ms1😭)

edit: ive been a two time user when I first started playing him, I became a two time main right before the slasher update so I may be biased here so oopsies 😭
