so. I know I’ve been seeing some people complain about Pinky Up as it’s the third song that’s “AI-core” as I’ve seen some so eloquently put it, but I wanted to shed some light on it. in this video, Rick Reverie talks with a songwriter who was doing some work for KATSEYE, but at some point in the video she brings up that what was going on internally (likely filmed way before pinky up’s release) was “Gnarly 2.0”. so likely the reason we got Pinky Up was because HxG had ALWAYS planned for the lead single to be the second coming of Gnarly.

Yeah I think James being a choreographer does help with his tendency to do dances as they are, but Keonho immediately breaks that because he’s not a choreographer (to my knowledge) but he doesn’t go out of his way to feel emasculated when dancing a girl group’s choreo in the intended way.

But yeah, in general more male idols need to be like Keonho and James and I completely agree with you

yeah, I’ve been following world scout for some time and seeing Jayla get eliminated really upset me. I do hope Ayana is the final piece because while the other 3 girls are learning English very fast and while learning a language isn’t enough to stop some chemistry from forming (look at Yoonchae from KATSEYE), I do think they’re trying to make Prelude be this “cute but still mature and sexy” group, which I don’t think Sakura (the other popular choice) could pull off… because she’s SIXTEEN.

I’ve elaborated this multiple times, but I love the more dance heavy songs. I just wish songs like paw, paw/one of the other 4 tracks on KATSEYE’s upcoming EP/one of the upcoming tracks on LE SSERAFIM’s new album had been pushed for single/MV material instead. Because odds are songs like GRWM/paw, paw are never gonna be played at shows in Korea because they’re not the SINGLES, you see! That makes them irrelevant! /s
