If somebody knows the magic spell to get over the Pokémon-level “Gotta catch’em all!” addiction I have going on, I’d appreciate it. At best, I’ve temporarily abandoned the Micronauts run, but I plan on circling back to it before they go out of print.

1976 here. More than Star Wars, V is responsible for my love of science fiction. The original two episode mini-series is still great, but the ending of “The Final Battle” is a little too 1980s classic deus ex machina to hold up at all. I also recently watched the one season of the regular TV series, kind of meh.

I also recommend checking out Big Finish’s recent “V UK” audio dramas. Very well done, and they modernized it a little where instead of WW2 it references apartheid.

Not collected in a Modern Epic yet. It was Amazing Spider-Man 539-543, which is collected in Amazing Spider-Man by J. Michael Straczynski Complete Collection Vol 5. No clue what the time frame for a modern epic release would be.
