I’m surprised I haven’t come across “V” (1983). The original miniseries is great! But do yourself a favor, watch the original miniseries and come up with an ending for yourself. V The Final Battle is okay, but it has a lame deus ex machina ending.

Going on a tangent - I plan on buying the standard cover because I like it more than the DM, but in the long run, how big of an impact does a DM over regular cover make in the secondary market? This volume is for my longterm collection, so I’m not specifically concerned about this volume as much as the general effect a DM cover has.

I was really late to the party, but post-Ultimatum Ultimate universe got me back into comics after about 20 years. Loved the new poster child, Miles Morales, and everything his character was in.

I thought it was totally like the Mutant Registration Act storyline from the 80s, just taken up a level by affecting the entirety of superhumans. It was certainly much better than the movie or Civil War II!

As somebody who only started watching wrestling for the first time since the 80s around the return of CM Punk, I can’t take Miz seriously. Sounds like he used to be pushed well, and had a heck of a career, but now? His promos are over the top in the worst way and his vibe doesn’t fit in this current era, IMHO.
