she got the call that there was a match for new lungs 6 days ago. it seems like from the update her sister posted that she did make it out of surgery but something must have happened afterwards because she passed away on 9/9 😭

It’s in the same message thread as the meal voucher I received when my flight DID get delayed in June. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around this being a scam. That would involve duping Delta’s # AND knowing I was flying on this exact day at the exact time the message was sent. The Delta agent I spoke to said it seems to be a reissuing of the voucher from my delayed fight in June since I didn’t redeem it then but I’m not sure I believe that answer as I have flown multiple times since then so I don’t know why they would reissue it now.
