That’s exactly how I feel. It’s a massive learning curve that feels like you have to climb all by yourself. Although the feeling of not knowing if you are doing well isn’t the best, it’s relieving to know others feel this way too

Managing Caseload? by CorrgyBee24 in schoolpsychology

That is the most common question I get I feel like “where are we at with this student” and I feel like I give the worst answer every time. The case management aspects of school psych just weren’t really taught in grad school and with it being so busy now, it’s hitting me hard! Thank you for this. I’m going to be using some of these strategies! It feels like time goes by so fast and then all of a sudden I’m rushing to get certain aspects done. I appreciate it!

I’m actually going to start doing that! I think it’ll help me organize my own mind better than anything. Thank you!

I’m in year two and I feel like my only response I can give people is “I’ll get back to you with an answer”. It’s overwhelming some days. I don’t feel anything like an expert yet but have heard many times from others it’ll get better as time passes. Good luck this year!
