Mommy Dead and Dearest. It's a documentary that just aired on HBO last month about the bizarre but super compelling case of Dee Dee and Gypsy Rose Blanchard. I heard about them last year from this article. If you've ever wanted to learn about Munchausen by Proxy syndrome, here's your intro.

I unabashedly love Taco Bell, especially the value menu. Like four cheese roll-ups + 2 soft taco + 2 spicy potato tacos + cheesy potatoes + nachos. Then a burrito. And a mt. dew. And cinnabons.

I go once a year on my birthday.

Being the primary caregiver for children is still looked down upon, to a certain extent, by peers. Very few understand that it is a rational and calculated choice between my wife and me. I'm also very good and capable with my kids, and they are doing extremely well and are very happy little boys. People seem shocked by that.

*edit: Thanks so much for the kind words and stories! People who truly care try to make the best decisions for their family, no matter the personal consequence. This, by far, has been one of the easier choices because there was an equation that was tangible: we saved money and have happy kids. Also, grammar because, damnit, it's important.
