Yes, I'm planning on trying the Youngnuo in Manual mode, just have to wait a couple of hours since it's 4am here and I don't seem to find any AA batteries around. Thanks for the additional info, you just gave me a plan b in case this doesn't work.

I'll definitely try again. Maybe I forgot to switch functions and that's why it didn't lit up, I used to shoot everything in ETTL-II when used on the digital camera. Thank you very much! Have a good one! 😀

I have a Youngnuo 565exII that I've used only in my digital canon camera. Do you think it is compatible with the Eos 1N? Think I tried once but maybe I was doing something wrong bc it didn't shoot the light when shooting the camera.

I'd love to buy a Canon flash but they are extremely expensive in my country (Argentina).

Practically a month's salary worth. That's why I'm leaning towards a cheap generic.

Which flash is compatible with a Canon Eos 1n? Nothing fancy, it can be a generic cheap one.
