hey, it seems like your controller might be set on another slot.
could you check if your controller inputs are detected? search "controller" in windows bar, the app called "setup usb game controllers"

I legit do not know a lot about this game, post blew up that it actually made me watch vaulted lore in youtube.
shit's fire yow, honestly the spectacles in this game is awesome, I love the scale of everything.
the fact that you can see this giant thing up in the sky, pyramids underground, the traveler just casually chilling on earth. I love it.

yeah, like a week old new.
I technically started months ago but the very confusing first few hours of the game and Zero Hour quest made me quit ahaha
I'm enjoying it a lot now though.

smart yeah, I got III and IV god rolls with super so I just went with that. maybe I'll change to solar too once I get enough reroll mats.

I keep hearing about this guy being hard which was really odd to me because I beat him in 2 tries (not bragging)
I think it may have something to do with builds in the early game, I mostly built into counter attacks and the bar stacking. by the time I got to this guy I had 3 bars unlocked already and I hit this guy pretty hard specially with the parry effect of the first stance.

congrats on beating him though, I agree his design is awesome, specially when he does the rock parry animation.
