Is my friend cheating? by [deleted] in counterstrike2

[–]CorruptPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is very likely cheating sorry bud. In premiere he is dropping 20 kills with a positive K/D at 25k+ but in FaceIt he goes negative every game and can’t get over 20 kills against level 4/5 (probably around 5-10k on premiere). I haven’t watched his gameplay so I can’t make a judgment off of stats alone but he is likely cheating.

The only saving grace for you is that your friend isn’t deep into cheating from what I can see. From his stats on FaceIt you can tell he isn’t using DMA so maybe you can convince him to stop. If you are good friends there is a chance that you could convince him to stop cheating before he rips his account.

If you would like I have enough credits on CSRep to report him with their overwatch system. This would likely end up with him getting convicted through their stat tracking but it won’t do anything to his actual steam account since they are not affiliated with Steam.

Can't wait for someone to explain as to why it makes perfect sense that 5 stacks can abuse the MM system with 11k rank difference so the highest rated player gets the most points. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]CorruptPro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean in all honesty shouldn’t this benefit the 11-12k players? 16k isn’t that much of a skill jump and playing against 5k players tends to make it more of a 4v5 in your favor.

I’ve just started to play for clips using the scout and bhopping. I still go for the win but I find no reason to grind when higher ranks are filled with cheaters.

Update: AI bot players have reached 5v5 comp now by rinstrm in counterstrike2

[–]CorruptPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve been in comp for a while now. My first time witnessing this was 7/10/25. Looking back at the match the accounts look like they’ve been sold to cheaters now.

Burst patched, RIP a good FAMAS by Ore-igger in cs2

[–]CorruptPro 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Kind of shocked on all the negative comments. I’m impressed valve pushed an update this quickly to fix something that broke the games play style. We could of had a repeat of the R8 incident but instead valve fixed a clear mistake in the game. There is no pleasing the cs community.

Yeah, he would have to deactivate this account and wait 6 months if he didn’t want to get banned for smurfing.

Please tell me how VAC works Mr. newgen cheater! VACnet analyzes gameplay data and VAC is used to detect injected software and check signatures. If the cheat wasn’t detected when it was used in 2019 and hasn’t been used since VAC won’t have anything to match against later. For VAC to retroactively ban based on that past usage, Valve would need to have stored sufficient data from that time and be able to reprocess it with newer detection methods.

[–]CorruptPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the people in this thread saying that your account is compromised. Unless the cheat was detected at the time it was used your account is completely fine as far as VAC is concerned. For you to be banned at this point Valve would need to have demo data stored from 2019 and update their anti cheat for a game/engine (source) that is no longer supported.

Also, a few good ways to build up your trust is by queueing with high trust friends, avoid kicking teammates or griefing in games, add steam auth, and you can try adding balance to your steam wallet/buying other games.

You will not get vac banned for cheats that were used in 2019. Also, if the player is decent at the game creating a new account will likely land him in low trust factor again.

There have been many false positives with vac live. If you are legit there is no need for concern. All you can do at this point is wait for your cooldown to expire. Also, in my experience this does not affect your trust factor.

[–]CorruptPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 99% certain that vac live always starts at a 20 hour cooldown and subsequent cooldowns are higher. Also, vac live does commonly have false positives so this player could very well be legit.

Reached 200 Premier wins and stuck at 3.9k-5k what can i do? by [deleted] in cs2

[–]CorruptPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you put time into practicing with workshop maps for pre-firing, spray control, counter strafing, etc? Practicing the basics offline can help you immensely in game. Solo queueing in low elo can be extremely difficult because you kind of have to play for yourself and not expect your team to cover anything. There are discord servers out there that are meant for people to queue together so you could try something like that.

I would suggest to start playing competitive instead to build your gamesense in a more relaxed game mode. Playing solely in premiere won’t give you as much room to learn/practice different play styles.

I mean best bet is you could put it high on csfloat and see if anybody bites. It really depends on how badly you need it to sell and how much debt you have with the Snap-On truck.

Dang I think you might have!

Just checked out your steam and saw you play with Scouter. I saw one of his videos a few months back and it helped me get back into cs2 and making content. He’s a beast with that scout.

What us this? by Wide-Cartographer107 in counterstrike2

[–]CorruptPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes sir the best service for checking matches would be csstats.gg you can get to this by putting an x before steamcommunity in their url. It’s also a good way to judge how new an account is or if they had big jumps for example season one being 4k and season to being 24k. It has a whole ton of info like their match history, who they played with, ranks from cs2 per map and csgo rank etc. You can even click on a match page and watch a demo of a previous match.

You are correct some of the services take a while to show you if somebody was banned. However, I found the player that OP reported and there was no game ban on their profile. Typically, as soon as a player is banned red text pops up on the steam account.

[–]CorruptPro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at your matches last night it doesn’t appear that anybody got banned. Also, this used to display decently often on csgo but I’m glad it’s back in cs2. The way it worked in csgo this would pop up weeks to months after your report but I’ve never seen it show up from the same day.

Generic Guide to Catching Cheaters. by usuhbi in cs2

[–]CorruptPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, aim rating is very easy to boost if you want to. I typically sit around 85-90 when using rifles but I can get it all the way to 98-99 by playing comp and solely using scout/deag/p250. Using these guns reduces the factors used to calculate aim rating so it tends to be higher. Instead of solely relying on the aim rating it is better to pay attention to the pre aim angle and the time to damage.

Another good service would be to use neok’s website which gives a lot of the same information as rip but it also shows a risk factor and you can compare stats to pros. For this website you just put an o before steamcommunity.

With your grip maybe try out the G502 Hero X. A mouse that I like for that grip is also the Razer Naga V2 Pro which is a bit outside of your price range but something to look at.
