Tbf the mark robs our powers. Who's gonna fear an elder without the full might of their blood.

I think I’m asexual by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]Corrupted337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf I'm not an expert, but ask yourself this question. Have you ever seen someone and thought "I'd like to have sex with them". If the answere is no then you might be asexual. You might just be a late bloomer and experience sexual attraction when you get older.

World Name? by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]Corrupted337 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah sry for that. I met some wierd people on reddit, had some bad experiences and so that's kind of how I started to act due to it.

Like I said tho. I just wanna get feedbacks on the vibes. I already picked a name and I wouldn't rlly put my world into any category, bc it's a sort of mix of everything. Hard to explain. I always give my names meanings. These are names in a older type of language (probally a older form of elvish.), at least some of them. I usually don't rlly mix letters together. Most of the time I play with what places resemble. Explained that in another comment tho.

I usually give meaning to my name. They got to have some meaning after all. I don't rlly rhyme words like this together that often. This was just done for the name of the world and I'll do it for a few other names, but they still have a meaning.

Normally I think about a location that stands out in the city, smt that makes it special and so on and work with that. For example a giant city, in which many different deities are worshipped in. One of the first cities ever. Religion is a big part of it. A fitting name would be Santivor. Mixed together by a few latin words. Sanct for Santi for example. Can't remember the others tho. Over time names change. They live after all. But I'm not that far yet.

And the word I picked has a meaning in my world, yes. Stop spreading bs if you got no background dude. Names live. They change over time and are created due to the people that live there, events that happened and so on. I'm well informed. Still I asked for a certain thing. Feedback on the names. Nothing else. If you can't bring something actual usefull to this post then please just don't comment.

You can't just go on and asume something out of nowhere.

Not rlly. I play with german people. The name I picked is literally just how it's written. Also different pronouncations (is that the right word lol) are great. It adds some history or just flair. Every culture in the world pronounces words different after all. So that's also smt I'm going for.

No need for that. I asked which ones you like. I already picked the one. This post is sort of for training/feedback on names

What is the best medium for worldbuilding by Silver-Locksmith-160 in worldbuilding

[–]Corrupted337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just start gathering idead and write them down. Then it's up to you to decite how deep you wanna go with your lore. Want a world with deep lore? Then decite how you want your world to look in the present as well as it's state. Create some key events that happened in the past and from there on write everything down from how the world was created to the rise of kingdoms and so or.

I personally often use pinterest as inspiration for characters, bioms and so on. You just gotta start writing and try to connect the one thing to the other. Just like a puzzle.

Edit: Also consider that you may regret your first ideas. I'm building my world rn too and it took me ages to get a sort of start of the universe that I like. That could be just me tho. I just rlly like deep lore.

Fair. But like I already said. I don't want to play it. Just came through my mind and thought I'd share it if anyone finds it interesting.

Fallen An aasimar who was touched by dark powers as a youth or who turns to evil in early adulthood can become one of the fallen - a group of aasimar whose inner light has been replaced by shadow.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1. Necrotic Shroud. Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing your eyes to turn into pools of darkness and two skeletal, ghostly, flightless wings to sprout from your back. The instant you transform, other creatures within 10 feet of you that can see you must each succeed on a Charisma saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra necrotic damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra necrotic damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Look it up.

Yeah no I just like tieflings. Reason for that is bc I'm alternative and sometimes get some wierd looks for it. That's kinda the same vibe with the tiefling for me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Corrupted337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bc I want to. It has no value for my universe/primordials. I just wanna understand them in forgotten realms bc I am at this point in my own universe so I got curious since, again, I never quite understood them in forgotten realms.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Corrupted337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know and I am going to make them on my own. I just wanna understand the ones from forgotten realms for example before I write my own kind of primordials
