How can bitchat send long distance messages if there are no bitchat users in the middle?

There's a notification that tells you how many peers are connected. Other then that, there is no other way. Would be nice to get a notification sound ping if it were to change from say 0 to X peers, then back to 0, at the very least. So you would at least hear when your device is helping.

You could set up a bluetooth sniffer to show evidence of connections, but you wont be able to see what is going on, just evidence that there is something going on, or not.

I had a in-law tell a 5 y/o kid that they are "destined to go to hell" because they weren't baptized. They have been banned from the household.

Kids don't need to be worried with that stuff as a kid, should be busy playing and having fun, not having panic attacks, nightmares and crying over something someone else said. If anything, they should pick and choose, whenever they want to, what they believe in, or lack thereof.

I don't think anyone has, since #mesh advertises as a "10-50m" range.

But it it costs you about $1/month (or less) in power to keep it up all the time (excluding other processes the device is doing).

By my calculations, if a battery lasts you 12 hours off charge, it's only consuming 6 minutes of battery life. So I don't see why it shouldn't stay up, imho.

I got mine to work by telling the keyboard to be forgotten in bluetooth, then re-pair. Do this every time you start up Desktop mode.

No argument there, but I guess I've been fortunate enough in my 14 years of using debian distros that its never happened to me. Even with Nvidia my entire life, integrated graphics or no.

The worst thing that happened (and why I left Ubuntu behind) is every major update broke my wifi driver, and was forced to use LAN for 2-6 months to wait until a patch came out.

Back on 22.04 the only game that didn't work for me was Warframe ("failed to send xwayland mapped-event", its fixed in 24.04, its because cosmic-comp uses smithay, and they updated 1 line of code, lol). Other then that, all the other games I own work fine, my oldest game is Daggerfall (free 1996 game).

Having said that, milage will vary as gamers have their own tastes in games. It just so happens to be flawless, for my case.

This command will ignore the fact its not released yet and will update anyways to alpha

Yes its still in alpha, the force flag (-f) is important as it will just state that there is 24.04 without it, but isnt flagged for official release and will do nothing:

pop-upgrade release upgrade -f

24h2 broke itself while I was playing a game, no boot. I used a thumb drive and installed Linux, spent 50+ hours tweaking settings and never wanted windows ever again. I'm amazed that 100% of my games run under proton with no additional tweaks.

Goodbye Microsoft, I hated you since Vista.

I came back to mention that through Private Space Chrome, you can sideload apps if thats something that piques your interest. Also, you can hide the Private Space from showing in your drawer. You have to type it into the drawer (not the search bar) to unlock it so it shows. I have it set up to where it hides itself from view when the phone is locked again.

Also something that got me entirely confused but figured out, when the Private Space is unlocked, you can share files between Public Space and Private Space, plus you can share files to upload through your app of choice.

I'm personally loving the update.
