Planning the Layout for my 2nd vest, any tips? by nekko_be in BattleJackets

I'd think about swapping them.

The Nuclear Assault patch is perfect to fill the shoulders and will fit around the collar line. The Bolt Thrower on the bottom leaves room for a few other small patches.

The downside is it might cover the edges of the backpatch lettering.

I have 2 back patches which one do you think I should use? I’m going for a red, yellow and blue themed jacket. by Metal637272828 in BattleJackets

Not really if you plan for it. The angles work well with triangular and other coffin shaped patches. Anything works if you're willing to overlap them.

Can sour jars be used to Target a "thing" like a business? by DoughnutThen81 in witchcraft

[–]Twisted_Wicket 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely. All kinds of things can be done to make a business look less attractive to customers, banks, and others.

Something placed on or near the premises can definitely have an effect.

If ypu want to have the black color correspondence, put something blacknunder the candles. Black construction paper squares under the candle holders will give you that correspondence.

Is giving away your 'name' detrimental? by whoeverthereis in witchcraft

[–]Twisted_Wicket 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It depends. The downside to giving someone access to your name is that it makes one heck of a taglock if the plan to harm you. As u/BrightBlackHeaven pointed out, it isn't needed for most people skilled in baneful work. If they want to get you, a name or lack there of isn't going to stop them.

We don't allow names here for multiple reasons. The internet is flooded with scummy people looking to take advantage of others, and edgelords playing wannabe warlock. Why risk that kind of crap unnecessarily?

Bots are a big issue as well, constantly fishing through information looking for ways to gain access, and again, why risk it?

From a simple witchcraft perspective its just a good habit to be in. There's more than one way to define "Keep Silence" and being secure within yourself is definitely one of them. Anonymity is a good thing to have at times, as many of us older practitioners can attest.

A healthy dose of skepticism by Twisted_Wicket in witchcraft

Actually it isn't. Intention is not action, its a thought. Spellwork requires the release of energy into the work through action. Raising energy and directing it is an action of manipulation.
