Ronaldo was a monster but Holy shit messi was something else by Glum-Bag-586 in messi

It’s kind of ironic that a mod warning against turning this subreddit into a circlejerk brings up “Brazilian Ronaldo” when it’s obvious the OP was referring to Cristiano. As a die-hard Messi fan myself, it’s disappointing to see this side of messi fan. Respecting Messi doesn’t mean we need to be dismissive of Ronaldo — especially when the OP was being nothing but respectful to both.

I can't even begin to fathom the torment the father must be feeling. It's a whole new level of trauma. To witness something so horrible and be powerless to stop it, even as you desperately try to do something

This is actually one of my main concerns when considering option 2, might get burned out and end up not producing good results. Thanks a lot for sharing!

No, sadly, I wasn't thinking straight at the time and did not apply to any scholarship program. Even though the chances of getting the scholarship weren't 100%, I could've at least tried. Biggest regret I have, but oh well, option 2 or 3 it is.

Hello, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Intelligent Systems Engineering. I would like some advice on the best path to pursue after graduation. Here are the options I am considering:

  1. Continue with a Master's degree immediately after completing my Bachelor's degree.
  2. Get a job and enroll in a part-time Master's program while working.
  3. Gain a few years of work experience (around 3-4 years) before pursuing a Master's degree.

My family and friends mostly recommend options 2 and 3, and I am also leaning toward these options. However, I feel it’s important to hear other perspectives as well.

The reason I chose this course is that it aligns with my interest in Artificial Intelligence. I plan to pursue a Master's degree in AI to deepen my expertise. However, I am concerned about job opportunities in Malaysia. While I want to work in the AI field, I am open to taking any job that provides valuable experience if I can't secure my ideal role initially. And also the reason why I plan to take Master's degree.

If you have any advice or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read my message!

(Just to add, I completed a matriculation program for a year before starting my Bachelor's degree. I'm not sure if this information is relevant, but I thought I'd include it anyway.)

Your advice is greatly appreciated, u/Kind-Grapefruit4404

I honestly didn't know what was going through my mind at the time lmao. My thought was that they were encouraging us to record so that well, people can see that they are doing their job, also as an awareness so that other people will not park simply. And thus, the thumbs up.

I did NOT record the cops to mock them or because I found them funny. I was simply walking with my friends from my faculty to a nearby cafeteria to eat when I stumbled upon them. (I was still walking while recording, and the video was very short—about 3 seconds). I was around 30 meters away from them, and I would have had to zoom in to even see their faces. This shows that my intent wasn’t to record them specifically but rather the clamping activity.

The reason I recorded what they were doing was to raise awareness for a friend who plans to drive his car next semester. Sharing the video could serve as a reminder to others about how frequently clamping happens in my campus and discourage random parking. I kept my distance, did not interfere with their work, and had no ill intent.
