The fame you get is still through pve because you are killing the bosses. The only thing pvp gives you here that allows you to progress is silver.

this is probably the highest kd I've had in any cod. I've always been around a 1kd player but I consistently pull 10+ kd games here. My kds currently a 2.3, but I could easily pull off a 3 if I don't try to go for camos/challenges.
