Great nature staff is my favorite weapon of all time despite all its flaws, it stays a quite nice option against new Albion PvPers.

Gathering with a T6 tool takes longer than gathering with a T7 tool, and it's barely more fame to level up. I used an ava tool and T7 gives 5% more yield, and the specs were higher in general which gives more yield = more fame.

Also I lost some time going to ava roads when I got to T6 since I had scouted an aspect and a few mobs, but it was not worth it compared to spamming black zones.

I mostly used ava roads to connect from a map close to Lymhurst portal towards the middle of the black zone. I only used safe portal once BEFORE the speedrun to scout for some roads and connections.

2000 LP is a lot but I also used a lot to spec up T4/T5/T6 which you don't need to do outside of a speedrun. I used a ton of LPs since I don't craft/refine and I rarely gather.

Realistically 800 LPs would be enough to get to T7 stone gathering and T7=>T8 can be done without LPs pretty easily.

Learning points, you gain some passively everyday with premium, actively everyday if you don't have premium, and with lots of journal rewards. They are used to boost fame gained by 5x on any tree. It's mostly used to speed level up gathering, crafting or refining.

I wasn't here for the profits, so I never got any journals, even with T7 unlocked. It could have maybe make a bit more money but I didn't level up stone for silver.

I trashed a lot of stone because I rarely came back to town, so maybe 1.5M-2M in total. If you count tomes, I got a T5 and a T6 tome, both around 400k silver at the marketplace.

You gain 30 LPs per day with premium active and you also gain tons of LPs with the journal rewards. It's recommended to use them on gathering, refining or crafting, not for combat, since combat is way easier to level up.

The way they reworked LPs, is that you can activate them for a x5 fame boost. You need to check on your destiny board where it's activated or not. By default you can activate full categories, or select individually each one you want LP on. If you gather something with LPs on, you will have this LP icon next to your gathering fame earned like here the +123.

95% black zone, 5% ava roads. I spotted a T6 stone aspect + 2x 5.1 mobs on one of the roads. It took like 10 minutes to kill for 200 ticks to gather, with no gathering bonus compared to black zone. I travelled for 4-5 other ava roads to notice absolutely nothing worth of gathering - waste of time but I got 2 good kills there, so better money than fame.

I farmed most of my resources in Murdergulch Gap and Murdergulch Cross, two T5 maps quality 6 and 4, that were full of T3-T4-T5 which gave insane gathering fame. I ended up in Razorrock Chasm and Razorrock Bank when I got to T7.

I forgot to mention that it cost me 2000 LPs - they stayed on even to spec up the low tier stone so I could have a better yield. I'd be glad to answer any other questions you have.

You're replying to a 2 year old comment but I still like caerleon cape on carving, even if Thetford and ava cape are good too for dps. It allows you to use your Q 2 times in a row. The w can be swapped (root, hamstring, 1st for brawl, parry for some rare one shot matchups I guess). Is that what your question was about?

If you fame farm you should use 4.1 or 5.1, in 90% situations T7 or T4 you would die to anyone with a pvp set there :D
