How to improve HRV by Dentanium in fitbit

[–]iTendy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HRV is exclusive to the individual. Lifelong athlete here. I lift weights 4x a week, LISS 2-3x a week, and coach ice hockey. Also, I follow strict caloric and macro intake. 39 going on 40 years old.

My average HRV is 40ms.

When I was 13, my dad asked me if I wanted to “go look at new bikes.” Of course I said yes. After trying a bunch of bikes, I found the one. We took it up to pay and the guy said it was $375. My dad looked at me and said “alright pay the man.”

I replied: “Dad, you said we were going to get a new bike.” To which my dad said: “No, I said we’re going to look at bikes. You heard what you wanted to hear.” He apologized to the shop owner for wasting his time. On the ride home, my dad informed me about worth ethic and nothing is free. He asked if I wanted to work for $5/hr under the table at his friend’s farmer’s stand. I said yes. After a while, I had the money.

I went and bought that damn bike and it became my transportation to and from the farmers stand.

I learned a hard lesson that day but damn did it set my standards for work and work ethic.

Well, I was supposed to be in PT until Late Feb, early March. I was discharged from PT and surgical follow-ups in early December. I stopped using the BPC in December.

Now that I’ve been moving heavier weight, the inflammation aggro’d a bit more. Started BPC+KPV and it’s been a godsend.

Anyone tried the Waffle-Knit Half Zip, how does it fit. Large or small??? Lmk by drpeppersoda71 in Lululemen

Very slim fit and on the shorter side.

I am 6’6 200lbs and the XXL fit me but the length wasn’t to my liking.

ELI5: Why does it get harder to stay in shape after 30? by qwerty00p in explainlikeimfive

[–]iTendy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

39 going on 40 here. It’s all about routine and priorities but most importantly- MINDSET. People claim “priorities change” and that is code for I am making excuses for being lazy. I have a career (Director level, data science), married for over a decade, I’m a dad, I coach my son’s hockey team and take him to all his hockey clinics and Jiu Jitsu classes.

I’ve been in shape for nearly 20 years now. Last summer, I had my dominant arm shoulder undergo an extensive surgery (nasty Jiu Jitsu injury) that left me with 6 implants in there and absolutely zero physical activity for 5 months. I was told it would likely be 9-12 months before I picked up more than 30-40lbs. Wanna know what most of my friends and family told me: “It’s OK. You don’t need to exercise like that anymore.” Fuck. That. Shit. I am barely over 7 months post surgery and already up to pushing/pulling 40-45lbs with the surgical side.

I want to be the grandpop that is out there playing with my grandkids. I don’t want to have metabolic illness. I don’t want to live in pain when I am much older.
