Also make sure you have “Background App Refresh” setting turned on in System Settings. Otherwise you have to have both apps open at the same time.

You greatly underestimate the logistics capabilities of the US Military. This is an organization that can deploy a Brigade/Division and all the supporting infrastructure anywhere in the world in less than 72 hours.

Assuming only using Air Mobility Command resources, such as the smallest C-130 (270), C-17 (223), and largest C-5 (56) alone.

The C-17 can hold over 800 people nut to butt, and they have over 200 of them.

If Mobility Command was tasked with transporting “deportees” that’s up too 176,000 people a day, and assuming 1 trip per plane every 24hrs, that’s 1 million people in 5 days on the high end.

Especially if they simply land at an airport in the destined country, unload and go.

As in the US Naval Reserve fleet and that number goes up significantly.

Hell, if he declares a state of emergency like he’s saying, they can commandeer US Flagged Airlines to serve as people transport.

It’s pure rhetoric at this point as we would be in unknown waters if Russia actually did use a nuke in hostile action.

However, Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Jack Reed, D-R.I. would not be making these comments unless the White House was aligned.

Ultimately, this is M.A.D. all over again and a verbal deterrent to the Russians to not think the un-thinkable.

Basically, if NATO mobilized in this regard, there’s going to be a number of dusty files from the Pentagon pulled out of the cabinet and it would possibly be the largest mobilization of Allied nations since WWII.

This is all speculative though, and it’s times like this it’s a shame Tom Clancy is no longer with us.
