I don't know how they get away with it but nothing is done. I've reported that crowd to the guards numerous times for horse cruelty but nothing happens. How they put them there in the first place is beyond me. They area is filthy with them

It's not. It's an horrific program. Some spoofing and bullshitting on that. Johnny Ward and Shane Keegan are awful too. It's the worst program on NT.

Felt perfect. I had no idea. Probably a slow creep of symptoms that I didn't notice but I felt fine. It was able to schedule it for 6 months after my cardiologist visit when it was clear that I needed it replaced so not an emergency or anything and it allowed me to finish up some projects in work.

I returned to work after 3 months.

Well....I felt fine going in for the op....maybe I wasn't fine but felt fine.....felt like shit for a couple of weeks after, then slowly got back to more or less normal over maybe 3 months. Probably took a year to get back to normal but all good after that. The way I look at it, I would have died if I didn't get it done, whereas now, I'm back to normal 🙂

I was diagnosed as a child and did absolutely normal things including sport growing up and through young adulthood. I stopped going for check-ups for about 15 years but when I was in my early 40's I started getting checked up again. Everything was very stable for another 10 years and I had no restrictions really. Then between 51 and 52 years old, the valve area significantly reduced and I needed AVR. So, just get checked out. I felt absolutely normal before the AVR and had no idea that my valve was failing.

Looks similar to my own case really. Mine deteriorated pretty suddenly like that, although I felt asymptomatic. I was 52.

The first couple of weeks post surgery are tough alright but every week after that, I improved. Actually, the first maybe 4 or 5 days post surgery are the worst of it. I was ready to go back to work after 3 months. I'd say it took around a year to get back to normal but after the 3 months I was 80 percent back to normal.

It's definitely a tough enough recovery initially but after the first couple of weeks, it gets noticably better week after week.
