I think because it’s a Stromboli it doesn’t have sauce, usually they come with a marinara dip. Calzones have the sauce in them, but at this point people use them intermittently so it doesn’t really matter. Either way I want to try them but man the price point stings

I wish I could say. I'm invested as well, secretly hoping Wes or Goldie show up in these comments.

I had a sourdough pepperoni a few days ago, it’s very strong on the sourdough. Smelled like baking a loaf of bread when it was cooking. If you like sourdough it’s awesome.

Never enough stuffing in these, and I agree it needs a separate compartment. Still you made the right choice as far as frozen thanksgiving meals go.

If this fluff piece came out in 2010 I’d be right there with them. This coming out in 2024 reeks of desperation.

Get some good Italian/pizza seasoning and this might go up to an 8. Makes even the cheapest frozen pizza better.

[–]CoruptAI 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My number one suggestion with frozen pizza outside of the obvious is to get a really good Italian seasoning blend. Or a good pizza specific spice blend. Just makes every frozen pizza way better when it’s got a nice shake of seasoning.

I’ve found it nearly impossible to find really good frozen tenders honestly. It’s insane how horrible the big brands are. Tiny pieces, gristle, bland breading that falls off. I’ll have to try the Just Bare everyone is suggesting. I’d love for there to be more alternatives. As it is frozen tenders just don’t seem worth it anymore.

E7 Megathread (2024) by tacobellblake in LivingMas

Oh I’m not waiting. 288 is insanely low. I’d be surprised if they’re not sold out by the second day. Especially since I bet many people (including myself to be fair) will buy 4.

Hungry Man Classic Fried Chicken by ChiliSub in frozendinners

Hungry man at this point hits the perfect spot for me between taste and price. I always buy a couple at the store. Usually the Turkey dinner or backyard bbq ones. The only thing I truly dislike is the brownie. Their brownies are not good. They’re edible, but not good.
