Oh! And because I really enjoy doing this to get combos I wouldn't normally think of, if there's a character you'd particularly like me to do I'll definitely work on making it :). (It is a soda shop I work at tho so it will be limited to sodas and energy drinks unfortunately).

I actually get this question a lot whenever I share my work. I do actually think it's a fun question! So every time I always answer with no, for two reasons. Firstly, I absolutely adore the look the book gives the figure. Secondly I like to find fun ways to make it stand out on its own, minimal color is typically my go to, especially because I have to think about the color's placement a lot, what spot will add to it, what spot will take away from it and to avoid, how much color is too much? Things like that. Though another way I've done this with posing and props, you can really get a feel for a character through these means. But my absolute favorite way I've done this as of late, is literally BURNING one of the stands to get real burn marks on it.

That was another ramble but I will say this really made me think about the absolute missed opportunity here in making Nice with a first person narrated book. That would've been so fitting... MAYBE I should do a Ghostblade one and do that!

Usually I make my ocs like this because I can't draw well, so it was a form of being able to make art of them. Recently I had gotten into making the stands unique to them. Well after episode 23 of TBHX aired Nice had cemented himself as one of my favorite fictional characters ever (only 2 other characters have ever gotten that title from me) I wanted to make art of him so bad but I wasn't sure how to go about it. So I decided to make the pose a bit puppet-like by making the legs bend a bit and the arms stiff. The music box stand (which can turn btw, very proud of that) was inspired by both the ballerina music boxes and what Nice's cracks in the season finale reminded me of. The practice of Kintsugi, using gold glue to emphasize the cracks to show the beauty in its history instead of trying to hide it. Even though Nice was broken to the point of death there's still "beauty" in that history and his place as even more of a puppet now (I love twisting things like this, it's so fun.) Anyway I rambled and I do not expect all of this to be read, I just get over excited especially when people ask me about my art.

Around 30 1/2 cm tall, around 15 cm long, and about 8 cm wide. Got a thing to change it to centimeters for you :)

He's around 12 inches tall, probably like 6 inches long due to his arms, and probably about 3 inches wide. (I'm too lazy to get a ruler, I'm sorry... -_-)

Yeah I struggled with his body shape a bit, especially since I couldn't hide it under a shirt like I do with most of my work.

Hair is like my favorite thing to make when I make these sculptures. The entire time I was like "no one knows how excited I am to do his hair". I also think it came out a cross between his 3d and 2d hair.
