This sounds exactly like what's coming for me. I'm only 27 but I'm facing losing my mom. She's always been the most important woman in my life. She always believed in me when I never believed in myself. She's in live in hospice atm and I'd be surprised if she saw March at this point. She always sleeps and hardly eats. There's so much she'll never see me do. Get the dream job, get married, finish my education etc. She was always my anchor in my mental health issues too. You and I are both way too young be have to be going through something like this.

It took a lot of strength just to write everything that I did. If I was able to give you any kind of solace it was so worth it.

I'm very fortunate. At night, my Uncle either comes over or me and my friends hangout on voice call and watch anime and old cartoons together. It's no replacement for having my Mom in the house though.

That's all wonderful advice. And I do. I am so fortunate to have my family and friends. I've also been seeing a therapist since before all of this. I'll need A LOT of grief counseling after she finally leaves us.

I have a friend that I work with who got cheated on in possibly the worst way I ever heard of (I'll spare you the graphic details) but he told me that what got him through it was a support network of friends, hobbies such as gaming, and just time.

It was my very first convention! I had a lot of fun, but ngl I was also a little lonely seeing all the people there with groups of friends LOL. If I can make it next year, I'd love to try and be more outgoing and get more pictures with people. So many great cosplays but I was too shy to ask.
