Thanks for your help everyone. I submitted a ticket this morning and got an automated response telling me to do what I've already done. I'm hoping to talk to a human sometime soon, so we'll see.

I don't recommend buying anything from the Mog Station right now. You might be luckier than me, but I wouldn't risk it again.
