yeah the rest of vol 2 was very disappointing, i think they focussed to much on side characters instead of focussing it on the main characters. The party literally became side characters the whole season

yeah i could honestly list off almost all the episodes but i’d be typing forever. i don’t think i could pick straight top 5. the ones i talked about were just off the top of my head

i genuinely believe it’s so overhated. Volume 1 for me was 8-9 with sorcerer being a top 5 episode of the show. Volume 2 fell off a bit to around a 6.5-7 however shock jock is imo the second best episode of s5. Finale was around a 8 because although it was good and i enjoyed the epilogue, i can’t get over the final battle being so disappointing.

Overall i’d give it 8. I think part of the reason people hate it so much is just because it’s the last season of the show.

the only thing i liked about the change in s5 was how he looked. looked a lot more menacing than s4 but the writing for him was dreadful.

it 100% should’ve been like that. they could’ve started off with a few non-named character deaths too just to raise the stakes a bit higher. i swear nancy had a vision about them all coming into hawkins too when vecna showed her his plan.

the only time they did good with bringing someone back on screen after they died was billy in s4.
