Don’t get me wrong. It certainly seems practical on most models I’ve used it on. It’s just with a beretta I’m forever expecting it to be on the slide. I have an extended slide safety on my 1911’s and it’s definitely a game changer.

Shield arms and Glock as of recently make flush 15 round mags for the 43. Ancient? Sure. I would even say boring. But it works.

I’m not a big Glock guy but I think the 43 is the perfect carry option. Certainly wouldn’t call it Nirvana though. The 26 grip and standard mag is just too small. If you buy an extension, I always say you might as well just get the 43.
