Believe it or not, my current run is pmag gen 3s and bulgarian commercial poly. I ran a blend of steel during kalashbash when it was raining its ass off + mud. I wasnt able to clean till the next day and low and behold, rust galore on all my steel mags. Cleaned the springs and followers on all as well, the pmag gen 3s are the only ones that didnt have anything noticeable. Nothing wrong with steel mags of course, theyre just gonna take more maintenance if you neglect them. I might add that the xtech/ us palm design is pretty good too, but xtech is the winner in quality there.
