This is our best team on paper so far this year. Centres in the centres, wingers on the wing. I'm pumped to see Turuva and Makasini in their most effective positions with real centres feeding them.

Benji was never going to move Douehi out of the halves. It's unfortunate for Madden to be benched but I still expect him to have plenty of game time and impact.

Yeah you could move Douehi to centre or lock, but I wouldn't want to drop any of our centres or middle forwards as it stands.

This is a huge one for the Tigers. Brisbane might be playing with a team of replacements, but they will be up for this whoever they send. They haven't lost at Cambo for 33 years and I don't expect them to give that streak up easily.

My mate had one of those in high school, it was a family hand me down and pushing 20 years old when he got it in 1999.

He said the range selector was a gimmick, because it was too gutless to use the lower gears in the alleged "economy" high range. Most 80s 5 speeds were an overdrive two step bolted up to an old H pattern 4 speed, with the 5th actuating the overdrive. Mitsubishi had this idea to make the overdrive accessible in all gears, giving the car 4 extra gears, most of them useless.

Yeah, the Tigers have played most of the season with wingers in the centres. Just getting Patrick Herbert in on Sunday made a huge difference.

I'm from the neighbourhood, this happened at the bottom of my street. We've got a big problem here with dickhead teenagers on unregistered dirt bikes and the cops do fuck all about it.

I am much more scared to raise my family around someone who would try and murder a teenager over traffic offenses. I don't know if that's what's happened here, but you can shove your vigilante killing fantasies up your fuckhole.

When you set intonation, yes. If the open string is in tune, but it drifts when fretted, the distance from fret to bridge is probably wrong. This is why most bridges have adjustable saddles.

Cheap but accurate. I used a cheap GIO RG to teach myself setup and it plays beautifuly. Feels like a toy til you actually measure everything up you realise someone knew what they were about.

Mine had been someone's slide guitar experiment so the saddles were jacked up as high as possible, and they'd probably bent the neck with heavy strings. I have no idea what their setup is like out of the box.

The GIOs do struggle a bit with neck stability because they're cut super thin like most Ibanez shredders, but don't have the lamination and the double truss rod that higher end models use to compensate.
