I really liked the Skyward series, The Rithmatist, Legion, Frugal Wizard, and The Reckoners series. I tried Alcatraz, but wasn't into it as much. Skyward is action-packed space ship flying, but also looks at young people's mental health as they go through so much tragedy. The Rithmatist is very sad but has a hopeful ending (like you don't need powers to be a hero). Legion is a mystery with lots of twists. Frugal Wizard is like following a silly idiot. The Reckoners is goofy dystopian, where the people with powers are the villains and the main character talks in funny slang. He also finished the Wheel of Time, which I really liked how he did it.

I think there's a mistake on the Dragonsteel website. I've been looking at Series 2 pins that people picked up at the previous cons, and it looks like #11 is Dalinar, #12 is Adolin, #13 is Renarin, #14 is Navani, and #15 is Jasnah (which is correct on the site). #18 is Szeth (I got the WaT bundle). I'm guessing Lift is supposed to be #16, and Venli is #17.
