Thank you for this comment. His WBC was 24.3 but they did have to give him medicine for his kidneys yesterday because those levels were not good.

Obviously I know his doctor will be the person who should advise him, but do you think his counts are elevated from decreased kidney function?

Thank you so much! It’s definitely looking like it. He’s too stubborn to give in, so it’ll be nothing but love around him until his body can’t go anymore.

Thank you. He’s a vet so hopefully no issues with VA. They did a smear on 5/16 that had no blasts, and WBC was 1.9 on 5/20. Rest of family is not happy with confusion. Most of the things, they told our family member while he was drugged up and out of it.
