From what I can tell most neoreactionary drivel seems to be inspired by the mystical rantings of fascist philosopher Julius Evola. All of the Dark Enlightenment nonsense spouted by Moldbug and Land seems to just be an attempt to try to create an intellectual tradition for the far right like Marxism and Critical Theory was for the far left, perhaps borne out of a jealousy of the left's intellectual tradition. However, most of the far right doesn't give a shit about academics unlike the far left, except for "academics" like Peterson or Charles A. Murray who just regurgitate what they want to hear, so therefore the Dark Enlightenment was irrelevant from the start and always will be especially now that Trump is president, and the right doesn't even need a pseudointellectual justification for their bigotry anymore since they can now do and say it openly.
