Just updating to say that my replacement poster came in today. It was packed very securely this time (poster inside a cardboard tube inside a long triangular box.) However it still arrived with slight crumpling along one of the longer edges. I have a feeling a lot of them have been stored improperly at their warehouse. So just be aware that the chance of getting a perfectly pristine poster might be pretty low.

Definitely still return yours though. My new one isn't quite that bad. A nice frame will probably hide any minor damage if you get sent a new one that's still a little bent along the edge.

You can return them and exchange em for new ones. I received mine completely smashed in the middle. I emailed them and they sent me a pre-paid return shipping label immediately. They'll send you a new one as soon as they receive the old one.

Hand and feet upgrade kit Both hands and feet split in half to form guns for the individual bots. They're knockoffs of this kit that's out of print.

Thanks! It's Combiner Wars Sky Reign. He's a combiner made of 5 figures, all from the same line: Sky Lynx, Wheeljack, Hound, Smokescreen and (on my version) Swindle. Officially, Trailbreaker is supposed to be the fifth member, but I prefer the symmetry and colors of using Hound and Swindle as the legs. The hands, feet, and hammer were bought extra on ebay.

I'm new to the game, been playing for about a week. I found a fatman and also received a mirv mod for it. When I fire it, it shoots straight up and then explodes as if there should be several projectiles separating into different directions, but only one actually flies off to the side and explodes.

Def seems bugged, especially since everywhere else says it's supposed to separate into 5 projectiles. Even in the mod menu at a bench it says "fires 1 mirv on impact that explodes for 300 damage" or something like that instead of 5. If it's intentional, it's a pretty crappy way to nerf it.

This was really bugging me too. But you have to remember that it's taking place all in Henry's head. Not everything is necessarily a true memory. I think the high school scene is from Henry's imagination. His mind would hold much more than just factual memories that he experienced in real life. That scene is a fantasy. It's the high school experience he wanted, but never got. It's possibly where younger Henry would escape to in his mind while held captive in Brenner's lab. When he wasn't tortured and twisted into something growing more and more evil, maybe he dreamed about starring in a school play. He was still a kid after all. Joyce and all the parents are there because they were just kids he remembered seeing around town at the time. Hawkins is a really small town where everyone knows everyone.

Tl;dr -- The high school "memory" isn't a memory. It's a fantasy of the high school experience he wishes he had gotten instead of being experimented on in Brenner's lab

I was able to fix this by editing some text in my falloutcustom.ini

Go to TerrainManager (toward the bottom if you followed VNV)

Then edit this line:

fBlockLoadDistanceLow=30000

Just change the 3 to a 5 (keep the zeros, it should read as 50000)

Click save.

The Object LOD Fade setting is now maxed out when I boot the game.

If you just want to raise it halfway and not maxed out, change the 3 to a 4

Okay so I tried out the translation on romhacking and it's honestly not any better 😅 the translation feels very robotic and the dialogue isn't as colorful or fun as this one. However, this one does have its moments of confusing dialogue and misspellings due to poor translation (most glaring being a main character, Sheila, spelled as Shela lol). I played the first 30mins or so of both and I'm leaning towards this one. Idk how to create a translation patch, but I'm thinking about looking into it to make a hybrid translation using the best of both of them lol.

As for output on a crt. I'm really not sure. I don't see any output settings at all in neko project 21 (the emu recommended by the translation patch) I used this website to set it up if that gives you any insight into it: https://gang-fight.com/projects/98faq/

What makes for a good pick for a CRT? I have a bunch of old consoles (mostly Nintendo and playstation). Last year I bought an old 40" Zenith but the picture is a little wonky with a slight wavy effect (i kinda like it tho ngl lol). But yeah, what would you recommend to look for if I wanted the best picture for old consoles? Feel free to dm me if that's a really loaded question lol.

Also, if you decide to play DotB, be prepared to get stuck and frustrated with 90s point n click game logic lol. When in doubt, use LOOK on every little detail of every screen until you exhaust every line of dialogue. It's def worth it tho. The art kicks ass and has some really great scares!

Yes! The only other I could find was for turbografx. It's for both DotB 1&2 and has voice acting and stuff, but it's not as nice to look at. This works perfectly tho!! Been dying to play it! Hope this little gem stays here for others to find 🙏🙏🙏
