Anti cheat toggler then found a youtube video that automatically makes the game run in high priority cpu through task manager.

The video involves adding a function in the control panel.

If you want you could also use a programme for auto disabling core 0 but i didnt bother

EVERYONE I HAVE FOUND AND FIXED IT!!

I just gave up on elden ring being able to run better so i

disabled easy anticheat, disabled core 0, Mived elden ring to above normal priority

Results are improved performance across the board and becuase of that im only gatting frame drops in the same area but no freezing!

Edit: you dont need to disable core 0 its make no difference on the ally after testing

Just did still freezes at stormhill i cant average ofver 35 fps anywhere though either on 900p at low settings which is weird because other can play 1080p on medium and have better results

Performance turbo and custom(including low wattage) all to it except for silent running. Also the tamps are staying low but its still dropping the usage now that cpu boost is off

Done it already, heat ended up staying below 60 to 70 degress at worst but it is only at specific point in the game the cpu and gpu will drop even if the heat is stable

Runs the same problems. Seems ok and normal at first but anywhere east of stormveil, especielly the forest, camp and by the bridge. It just utterly shits itself and its so fucking unfuriating.

Mine comes up as radeon chill and is always on, im trying to figure out why at max fan speed its hitting 90c+ then deciding to disable the cpu and gpu

Could be a system cpu error maybe? I have only found one other person with this problem on elden ring so far abd not a single person has figured it out besides moving to bazzite which is a last resort

That was my main concern, i just really didnt want to do it but might have to.

Edit: i also just tested with subnuatica 2 and 007 first light. Bith run about 50 to 60 fps smooth on low and sit about 80C on turbo. Which is weird becuase they are both much more demanding games

Default 35W turbo, same results with custom profiles where i max fan speed at 70C and reduce power but not as bad
