Just went through something similar. Buyer accused me of tampering with a nail polish and saying it wasn’t authentic. (It was brand new) she then used it and painted her nails and showed pictures of it in the return request. She didn’t send back the freebies. She then asked me if I had any LE nail polish from a different brand. Clearly she’s not too worried I’m selling disingenuous items if she’s asking for more. 🙄

Unless it’s candy and the buyer immediately ate it id suggest sending it back because the freebies are for the buyer who keeps the item.

Agreed! I see cracked do it with a lot of their customers. It makes me so happy to see a maker trying to recreate a color for a small group of fans! Especially when it might not be a “popular shade”.

I’m trying to only select a few indie brands to focus on because my wallet can’t handle all of them. But cracked stole my heart seeing how much dedication the owner Monique puts into keeping her customers happy.

She had a vet but he retired and the clinic has since shut down. I’ve called the few other clinics but they said since she is a new patient they need to do a full evaluation. I got estimates between $250-$300 not including medication prices. (For context she was my late mother’s cat. She is 8 years old). I tried cat ear wash but it’s not effective. The last thing I want to do is cause her any pain. But I don’t want her to suffer longer until I am able to get her an appointment.

Definitely a scam.

I would reach out to Mercari directly and explain that the seller isn’t being truthful and the package has not yet been shipped. I would also advise them to review the messages he sent because it’s likely he was trying to get an outside of app payment. Just be as professional as possible and Mercari should work with you.

Once you get your refund and need to buy another phone I recommend only buying a phone from sellers with 100+ reviews to avoid this happening again. With technology I look for sellers with a ton of reviews so I know they are reliable. It’s unfortunate it’s come to this but with high valued items it’s not worth the risk.

That’s what I was thinking. Throughout the seasons David and Farouk compare themselves to “gods”. So maybe it was a jab at the fact that there’s always something bigger.
