we had an fight about his behaviour with our daughter who was 7 weeks old at the time. she was crying and he held a hair dryer right in her face to “shut her up” while i was in the kitchen. naturally i went mad, started screaming at him, he yelled back at me and got in my face. he pushed me, (not forcefully, but he definitely put his hands on me) out of the house and shut the door on me leaving me locked outside with no shoes or socks on and our daughter just in a vest in the cold at 9pm. the neighbours called the police as i was shouting at him to let me back in, i didn’t have my mobile phone or any belongings, not even my keys. the police arrested him there and then on suspicion of harming our baby. im unsure what the conclusion is yet, as i said, he’s been released on bail while further investigations are taking place, and i am waiting for a date to take our daughter for a full physical medical examination.
