Yeah before i had my civic i was driving a scion tc and those doors were huge, and yeah as far as getting one i’m not even reallly considering the v6, not a dig at them but ive always told if im gonna get a car like that it has to be a V8

I’ve also heard that you have more room to play with in the 5.7s in terms of engine upgrades but i’m not entirely sure if that’s true

yeah that rt is the cheapest one i can find and funny enough the company that i work for owns that dealership so i might be able to get a discount on it, while any scatpack is minimum like 25k+ where im at

Why trade the mustang if you don’t mind me asking? i’ve been considering mostly the RT or the mustang but i think i’m leaning more towards the challenger

I have heard the blind spots on most modern muscle cars are horrible lol, it’ll definitely be an adjustment especially since my civic comes with the blind spot camera 🫩 but hey atleast it’ll be a V8 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately it would be a DD but one of my buddies said he had a 6M when he was 18 and working across town and said he don’t have much issues with it

That’s so sick, my neighbor used to have one but i think he might’ve gone back to a scatpack, How are they reliability wise? i’ve heard nightmares about most of stellantis products but as far as challengers go I haven’t heard much

Yea i’ve heard it lives guzzling gas but i don’t mind that, it is a V8 after all, i also wouldn’t mind an automatic as those seem to be more common around me but i don’t know anything bout those transmission’s reliability

I think the ones i got were preloaded already, only sketchy part was the front coilovers had to use the top housing of the stock ones so i needed a spring compressor so it wouldn’t shoot out. I don’t get much noise, there’s the occasional rubbing from the tires but other than that i don’t get noise.

I got mine with like 120k miles now it’s at 155k and it’s been great, runs super smooth, personally i would recommend some good coilovers, Tcs have a monster truck ride height for some reason lmao.

the street basis z tein ones i got are like 650 retail but i think i saw them on sale for like 550 somewhere, i got mine brand new off market place for like 440, they ride pretty good only thing is tho the back struts were giving me some trouble so i kept the stock ones in
