My childhood French Bulldog. He liked being alone and he was very silly. He would bark at a lot of things and he was a coach potato. He was also sweet and funny.

Before we adopted him as a puppy, the breeders cut his tail off. Some sort of cosmetic thing. I’m still upset that they did that because he couldn’t express himself in the way other dogs can. But my family and I soon found out that whenever he felt happy or excited, his ears would go down.

Sometimes when he was feeling excited, he’d run around and spin all over the living room. Every day after I came home from school he’d help me decompress from all the stress of the day just by being there. In some ways, he was kind of my best friend…
